How Does the Process of Translation Work?

SUBMIT A REQUEST

Submit a request for quotation, and be sure to upload the document you wish to translate. You can also email us your file in PDF, Word, Excel or Powerpoint.

ANALYZE

The document will be analyzed for content, format, complexity, and pre-existing translations, and a quote is prepared. The quote is based on determining factors such as:

  • the amount of research required
  • whether or not the client has previously translated documents that can be partially re-used
  • the repetition of words in the document
  • a general estimate of costs would be based on 23¢ per word.
  • quotes will include an estimated delivery date.

TRANSLATION AGREEMENT

Once the quotation is approved, we will proceed promptly and contact you via email with questions.

PROOFREADING

The translated document goes through two stages of proofreading and editing internally, before it is passed to you.

FINAL FILE

Your final file is presented to you in the format as requested.

What is the Final Product of the Process of Translation?

Once completed, you will receive a translated document. If the translated product is to be used in a design file, we will provide a bilingual file to ensure the designer can easily match the translation to the original language.
